Deka Immobilien has successfully let 45,000 sqm of its Warehouse Bierun to Auto Partner (AP) for another 10 years. The property is located on a 12-hectare site in Bierun, situated within a special economic zone*. It offers a total of 55,000 sqm of warehouse and production space with a clear height of 10 metres and a floor loading capacity of 6 tonnes per square metre. The location is conveniently close to the A4 motorway and the S1 expressway, with the nearest airport in Katowice just a 20-minute drive away.
The modern logistics park was developed by MLP in 2014 and acquired by Deka in 2015. It consists of a building with a lettable area of 56,000 sqm and 394 parking spaces. The object is also recognised for its sustainability and energy efficiency, as it holds a Breem® In-Use certification and has received a “Very Good” rating in the Asset Performance category.
Auto Partner is the anchor tenant, occupying 45,000 sqm of warehouse and office space for which the lease has now been extended. AP is one of the largest importers and distributors of spare parts in the Polish market, with approximately a 10% market share. They have a presence throughout Poland and in a total of 30 European countries. There are plans to further expand AP’s area in the future by taking over spaces from other tenants.
*The special economic zone is a separate, uninhabited part of the country’s territory where business activities can be conducted under preferential conditions, particularly to accelerate the economic development of regions, create new jobs and attract foreign investors to Poland.
