Deka Immobilien has extended the lease agreement with Bestseller Stores Germany GmbH for a further five years at Berliner Straße 26 in Gütersloh. As a result, Bestseller will continue to occupy the approximately 1,455 sqm retail space in this centrally located property until at least the end of March 2031.
Bestseller is an international fashion group headquartered in Denmark. Its well-known brands include VERO MODA, JACK & JONES, and ONLY. The lease extension reflects the tenant’s continued confidence in both the location and the quality of the property.
The mixed-use property, which combines retail and gastronomy, forms part of an institutional real estate portfolio and was built in three phases between 1927 and 2006. The property offers a total rental area of around 1,900 sqm.
Situated in the heart of the city centre, the property is part of a historic and vibrant commercial district. Berliner Straße, first paved in 1820, was transformed into Gütersloh’s first pedestrian zone in 1972. Today, it serves as the city’s main shopping street, characterized by a blend of historic facades and modern retail outlets.
